We are looking for various CNC Horizontal Borers. The successful candidates must be experienced and capable of working on their own initiative on large and complex parts.

These are full time positions working various shift patterns of 39 hours (Monday to Friday).

• Day shift - 07:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thu (4 day week)
• Night Shift - 20:30 to 07:00 Mon-Thu with 6 am finish on Friday

Minimal training will be given for this position as applicants require a high level of knowledge in operating this type of CNC machine tool (see below) along with the ability to work on complex components.

• Understanding and programming of Fanuc controls on Doosan or Giddings & Lewis machines (or similar)
• Live spindle tooling
• Handling and set up of components (sometimes exceeding 10,000KG)
• Setting & Operation of CNC Machines
• Full understanding of CNC programming
• Full understanding of Quality requirements within facilities like KSW
• Knowledgeable about the various high value materials being machined along with tools, speeds & feeds used to do so.

As mentioned, these positions are for highly skilled operators only and as such it is expected that little training will be required of the applicants.
