The WTS Charge Hand typically works within the Waste Transfer Station dealing with the daily acceptance/ dispatch and processing of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Wastes. They are also responsible for the Supervision of the WTS Operatives and other Operatives that may be allocated to work within the WTS on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Co-operating with Site Management and Supervisors
- Following Denholm Environmental Operating Procedures as required
- Supervising & Directing Operatives within the WTS
- Accepting/ Dispatching of Wastes according to Company Procedures
- Carrying out tasks as directed by the Waste Manager
- Processing of Waste within the Waste Transfer Station
- Organising Daily tasks & workload for Operatives
- Ensuring all wastes are labeled and within correct storage bays.
