MOSS are looking for a Site Supervisor to join the team!
The role will be part of the MOSS Site Management Team, working on a client site ensuring machining work is planned and delivered according to MOSS and site procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the site team comply with all SHE requirements ensuring the Technicians
- work in a safe environment.
- Assign machining tasks to technicians.
- Deliver toolbox talks to technicians.
- Ensure kit arriving on site is suitable for the task and has in date maintenance records.
- Ensure kit is removed from site when job is completed.
- Walk jobs with client representatives to ensure all services are in place and planned.
- Submit tickets for production services, QC and DIMCON checks.
- Be proactive in chasing support services. Escalate through Unit Owner / Projects if necessary. Control costs by minimising delays.
- Check that work is up to the required quality standard and signed off accordingly with MOSS quality check record sheets.
- Manage and close out any notifications assigned to MOSS in a timely manner.
- Support Head of Delivery with attendance at Operational meetings.
- Requirement to attend client meetings on occasions to cover for the Site Manager.
- Alternate shifts to ensure supervision 24hrs/5 days.
- Ensure all kit onsite is suitable for the task, PAT tested and has up to date maintenance records and is recorded in a database for inspection by the client
- Ensure MOSS machining activities are handed over to the client for inspection in a timely manner to ensure that there is minimum delay from completion to sign off.
- Carry out regular site inspections throughout the day on all machining activities ensuring technicians have everything they need to progress the task reporting issues to head of delivery.
